| Led the development of Woongjin’s digital mobility solution, contributing to strengthening industrial competitiveness by reducing dependence on foreign software

Kim Min-jun, Head of Woongjin’s Mobility Business Division at Woongjin Co., Ltd. (CEO: Suyoung Lee), received a Ministerial Commendation from the Ministry of Science and ICT at the 26th Software Industry Day ceremony.

Software Industry Day is an annual event hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA). The event was established to recognize individuals who have contributed to the advancement and technological innovation of the software industry while promoting industry morale.

Kim led the overall development of Woongjin’s digital mobility solution, WDMS (Woongjin Digital Mobility Solution), successfully carrying out implementation projects tailored to the needs of various customers. Through these achievements, he was recognized for helping replace dealer management systems previously dependent on foreign software with a domestically developed solution, thereby strengthening the technological independence of Korea’s mobility industry.

He was also highly recognized for significantly improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and data-driven decision-making capabilities across the domestic mobility sector through the deployment of WDMS.

Today, WDMS has grown into one of Korea’s leading mobility solutions, currently used by approximately 19,000 users across 5,534 locations for 14 global brands. The platform provides integrated support for dealership operations, covering the entire process from vehicle ordering and delivery to maintenance and customer management.

Kim Min-jun, Head of the Mobility Business Division, stated, “This is a meaningful achievement recognizing the competitiveness of Korea’s domestic software technologies in the mobility industry. We will continue expanding WDMS into sectors such as commercial vehicles and construction machinery to further strengthen the global competitiveness of the broader mobility industry.”
