| Combining Dream Security’s Authentication and Security Solutions with Woongjin’s IT Business to Strengthen Customer Trust

Dream Security CEO Beom Jin-kyu(right) and Woongjin CEO Lee, Suyoung signed a strategic MOU to promote the development of the IT solutions sector by sharing both companies’ core capabilities and technologies.

Dream Security (CEO: Jin-kyu Beom) announced that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding(MOU) with Woongjin(CEO: Suyoung Lee) at Woongjin’s headquarters on October 25 to promote the development of both companies’ businesses.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dream Security CEO Jin-gyu Beom and Woongjin CEO Suyoung Lee. Through the agreement, the two companies agreed to strengthen competitiveness in the IT solutions sector and pursue continuous business collaboration by sharing each company’s core competencies and technologies.

The MOU focuses on creating synergy by integrating Woongjin’s IT development capabilities and proprietary solutions with Dream Security’s security and authentication systems.

Woongjin’s IT Business Division has been experiencing rapid growth based on its proprietary solutions, including the rental management solution WRMS and the mobility solution WDMS. The company has also established a comprehensive enterprise IT system portfolio spanning from cloud to endpoint environments while continuously adopting emerging technologies to enhance customer satisfaction.

Dream Security has likewise achieved strong business performance through various authentication and security solutions, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-based authentication systems, electronic signatures, and mobile identity verification services. The company is also actively developing quantum communication key management systems and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions while participating in related pilot projects.

Going forward, the two companies plan to expand cooperation particularly in the areas of mobile security and authentication services, including mobile antivirus solutions and app tampering prevention technologies.
