Woongjin announced that it has launched a cloud-based rental platform for small and mid-sized rental companies.
Considering that most companies inquiring about rental system adoption are mid-sized and small businesses, Woongjin has launched an additional cloud version and is making an all-out effort to secure enterprise customers under the goal of ‘eliminating difficulties for rental companies.’
Through 12 customer projects that implemented WRMS, its existing on-premise rental system, Woongjin selected 43 essential rental business processes and incorporated them into the cloud version.
The rental platform includes 10 standard modules by default: ▲pricing ▲orders ▲sales ▲installation/delivery ▲revenue ▲billing ▲delinquency ▲A/S ▲return/maturity ▲credit. In particular, special modules such as ▲logistics and ▲assets can be added as options, which is a key strength because companies do not need to repeatedly modify the system as their rental business becomes more advanced.
Woongjin also released a mobile version. Through the mobile screen, the company strengthened sales-related functions such as ▲order registration/inquiry ▲contracts ▲quotations ▲performance ▲catalogs, enhancing the completeness of a smart work system for rental organizations.
As it is a cloud version, Woongjin plans to minimize cost burden through a pay-as-you-go pricing model based on usage.
In addition to the cloud version, Woongjin has expanded customer options by segmenting the on-premise model by scale.
The on-premise model is divided into Standard and Lite versions, providing selective modules according to each enterprise customer’s business scope. In addition to the basic modules provided, Woongjin also supports the development of additional reports. This lowers the barriers to system adoption so that not only companies preparing to start a rental business, but also companies already operating one, can introduce the system without excessive burden.
A Woongjin official said, “As an implementation partner for major Korean rental companies spanning both B2B and B2C, including Coway, SK Networks Malaysia, Sono Season, and etc. we have accumulated both practical field experience in sales and field services required for rental businesses and IT expertise.” The official added, “This is Korea’s only specialized platform that standardizes complex rental processes based on 30 years of rental experience and creates a structure that enables companies to start a rental business easily, regardless of organizational size.”
WRMS also offers strong security. Through patent applications, it can help prevent customer personal information leakage in advance and address the inconvenience of personnel management caused by frequent changes, which are common in rental organizations. In addition, Woongjin has filed applications for the user interface and trademark rights, proving the platform’s stability and accelerating efforts to secure rental companies as customers.
Woongjin said that, in line with the launch of the cloud version, it will lead the Korean rental company ecosystem with its IT system through aggressive marketing activities such as discount promotions and online seminars.
