Woongjin will provide Amazon Web Services(Amazon Web Services, hereinafter AWS)’s AWS Migration Acceleration Program(AWS Migration Acceleration Program, hereinafter MAP) to domestic customers. AWS MAP is a methodology developed by AWS for companies planning to transition to the AWS cloud.
AWS MAP is an AWS framework that supports the rapid and accurate migration of all enterprise infrastructure, including data, servers, databases, and applications, to the AWS cloud. It consists of three stages: Migration Readiness Assessment(MRA), Migration Readiness and Planning(MRP), and the actual migration.
Woongjin plans to launch ‘MAP for SAP’, a MAP service for companies using SAP, and further expand customers’ options for AWS migration.
Woongjin has confirmed that companies using SAP can reduce cloud migration time by up to 80% and lower infrastructure costs when applying MAP. ‘MAP for SAP’ is applicable regardless of SAP version or product, and can also be applied to new installations.
A key feature of this service is that on-premise server environments or other companies’ clouds can also be migrated to AWS, without the need to separately reinstall the operating systems and applications configured in the existing server environment.
