Woongjin announced that it has completed the system implementation for Nexen Tire’s ‘Next Level GO’ service. ‘Next Level GO’ is the industry’s only non-face-to-face on-site tire replacement service, where tire specialists visit customers at their preferred time and location to replace tires.
The project implemented key functions including non-face-to-face on-site tire installation using specially equipped vehicles, pickup and delivery tire installation, and personalized tire recommendations based on vehicle license plate numbers.
In particular, the real-time vehicle dispatch function, which reflects traffic conditions, has been recognized for improving both field technician efficiency and customer satisfaction.
As the implementation partner, Woongjin combined its rental solution and dealer solution to deliver the project. By applying its years of IT system operation know-how in on-site services, Woongjin enabled the Next Level GO service to operate in an untact, non-face-to-face model.
A Nexen Tire official said, “We needed an IT system that could support an innovative service designed to improve customer satisfaction and brand awareness. Woongjin not only met those requirements, but was also the most suitable IT partner for expanding Nexen Tire’s new distribution channels. This collaboration led to strong results.”
Nexen Tire’s ‘tire rental service,’ launched in 2015 as an industry first, is also an example of Woongjin’s rental solution in action.
Sung-chul Shin, Head of Woongjin’s Solution Division, said, “Next Level GO has pioneered a new non-face-to-face business model by combining Woongjin’s strongest rental process capabilities with vehicle maintenance and dispatch functions.” He added, “We will continue to serve as an IT partner supporting Nexen Tire’s business expansion.”
