Global Retail Company L opened its first store in 1998 and subsequently expanded its operations worldwide. By 2009, it ranked first in the number of domestic and overseas stores. At the time of the project, the company operated in China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, maintaining one of the most active overseas businesses among Korean retailers.

 

 Project Overview 

Through this project, Woongjin established enterprise-wide standard processes to manage diverse logistics flows and support faster delivery. The project also introduced an operating framework and key performance indicators to improve logistics efficiency.

- Design and implement an enterprise-wide standard logistics infrastructure framework for sustainable growth

- Establish an integrated operating model and logistics management system

- Integrate the system with the next-generation merchandising system and stabilize interfaces with automated equipment

- Connect SAP EWM with external systems, including the Order Management System and Transportation Management System, through Enterprise Application Integration and SAP Process Orchestration
